Controversial drop of the Canadian GP

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has published its revised version of the 2009 Formula One race calendar. One of the most important changes is the omission of the Canadian Grand Prix, at which Robert Kubica sealed the first race victory for the BMW Sauber F1 Team this year. Nick Heidfeld finished second to complete a sensational result in Montreal.
