Valentino Rossi wins in washed out Indy GP

Valentino Rossi, rider of the Bridgestone-shod 800cc Yamaha YZR-M1 for the Fiat-backed works team in the 2008 MotoGP World Championship, was sitting pretty after three consecutive race wins. Rossi made history with his first Grand Prix victory at Misano, which put him 75 points clear of the nearest challenger. Now it was time for more history, with the first visit to Indianapolis.
