Saturday weather update - showers for Spa qualifying?

Welcome to the first day of practice for the Belgian Grand Prix at the historic circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. Though there was little rain in the region on Thursday there has been some overnight and the forecast for today remains for showers and an ambient temperature high of 16 degrees Celsius. That is predicted to continue through to raceday by some forecasts, while locals speak optimistically of a dry day on Sunday.
