Toyota F1 manager Cregan to step down

Toyota's Formula One team announced Monday that team manager Richard Cregan, 48, will leave the position and the team at the end of November. Irishman Cregan spent 24 years at Toyota Motorsport GmbH, which he joined as a rally mechanic. He served as operations manager of Toyota teams in World Rally Championship and Le Mans 24 Hours. Assisting the late Ove Andersson in setting up the Cologne, Germany-based F1 team, Cregan became general manager of Formula One operations in 2002 and stepped up to team manager in 2004. ...
